Dark Brown Briwax Toluene Free
When Henry Flack developed his wax in 1860, before environmental concerns were an issue, he used toluene in the formula to ensure the finest finish. In the 1990ís regulatory agencies throughout the USA started to highlight certain groups of chemicals and the extra care needed when using them. Toluene is a member of these groups, so a toluene-free formula has been developed, using the identical beeswax/carnauba wax blend. The solvent in Briwax Toluene Free is Mineral Spirits.
